Kathi Jo Hubner - Jazz

After receiving her BA with a major in dance from Adelphi University, Ms. Hubner performed extensively on Broadway and toured nationally with such shows as "My Fair Lady", "Cabaret", and "Follies". She founded The Stroudsburg Ballet Theatre in 1985, where she had the pleasure to work with Trinette Singleton of The Joffrey Ballet and had the opportunity to choreograph several pieces using Joffrey II dancers.

She has enjoyed a varied and colorful teaching career highlighted by numerous guest choreographer/teacher positions at colleges and universities throughout the East Coast. From 1990-1998 she co-chaired the dance department at Wagner College, known nationally for its musical theatre program. Kathi's students have gone on to dance on Broadway in such shows as "Footloose", "Hairspray", "42nd Street", "A Chorus Line", "Fosse" and "Chicago".
