Elizabeth Holowchuk - Guest Faculty and Choreographer, Ballet Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, she received her training from Christine Taylor and Luba Gulyaeva at North Jersey School of Dance Arts, and after 8 years of training Ms. Holowchuk continued her studies at the School of American Ballet in NYC. Ms. Holowchuk has been a member of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet since 2001. Elisabeth has been featured in The Suzanne Farrell Ballet's Balanchine Preservation Initiative performing leading roles in Pithoprakta, Concierto de Mozart, Contrapuntal Blues pas de deux from Clarinade, Ragtime, and Balanchine's Don Quixote. She has also performed as a guest artist with the New Jersey Ballet, and is a soloist with the New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet in Hackettstown. Elisabeth owns the design company Stylish Ink and created a line of merchandise which can be found in the Kennedy Center gift shop. |
